FGR® recovers heat in the flue gases from biomass boilers in the range of 100-1000kW.

A highly efficient heat recovery is achieved with a patented control system for the condensing process. The high level of condensation also reduces the emission particulate matter. Larger soot particle are captured in the condensate and smaller particles are captured in a final cleaning step. Particle emission is reduced by 90%.


The energy efficiency is improved by about 20%. The recovered heat is returned to the boiler or used in a secondary heat system.


After the high level of condensation the flue gases are dry and cool (25°C). There is therefor no risk for condensation in the chimney.


The condensate is cleaned before drained.
